Sunday 26th April Botanic Gardens.

On Sunday the 26th April,  Dublin Sketchers are going to The Botanic Gardens.

We'll meet at 2pm at the main entrance.

If you haven't been before keep your eyes open for anyone carrying a sketch book and come and say hello. Don't worry if you're late, most of us usually are!

From 4pm, we'll gather The Gravediggers pub (also known as Kavanagh's, I think). This is easy to walk to from the Botanic Gardens: find the new gateway between the Botanic Gardens and Glasnevin Cemetery. Walk through it and follow the cemetery wall round to the left until you find a big imposing gateway. Go through it and you'll find a green with the pub on it.

If Im not there for any reason, please send photos of your sketches saved as a jpg to dublinsketchers@gmail.com by Monday and I will put them on the blog. If Im there on the day, Il take the photos.

Hope to see you there!

On Sunday 19th April Dublin Sketchers are going to meet at Grand Canal Dock.
We’ll meet at 2pm at the entrance to Bord Gais Theatre. www.bordgaisenergytheatre.ie/
As the weather forecast is hot for Sunday it would be nice to draw here. If for any reason its raining, go into the Marker hotel www.themarkerhoteldublin.com and draw the foyer interior for the two hours.
Don’t worry if you’re late - just get stuck in and draw whatever takes your fancy. I will probably attend myself this time, so will photograph your work if Im there. If Im not there and you wish to be included on the blog afterwards, please photograph your work and send to me at dublinsketchers@gmail.com by Tuesday.
At 4pm we'll meet at ll Valentinos http://www.ilvalentino.ie/ at the junction of Grand Canal Dock and Pearse street for refreshments and a chat.
If you haven't been before, keep your eyes open for anyone carrying a sketch book and come and say hello.  Dublin Sketcher’s is FREE – just bring your own drawing materials.

Sunday 12th April, Stephens Green Shopping Centre.

On Sunday 12th April Dublin Sketchers are going to meet at the entrance to Stephens Green Shopping Centre

We’ll meet at 2pm at the entrance.  As the weather forecast says it may be cold or wet by Sunday there are two sketching options, Stephens green itself, if the weather is fine or in the Kylemore cafe on the 1st floor of the shopping centre. The third option is to draw at Cafe en Seine itself and meet the other sketchers there at 4pm.

Don’t worry if you’re late - just get stuck in and draw whatever takes your fancy. If you wish to be included on the blog afterwards, please photograph your work and send to me at dublinsketchers@gmail.com by Tuesday.

At 4pm we'll meet again at the entrance to Stephens green shopping centre and head to Cafe en Seine on Dawson Street for refreshments and a chat.
If you haven't been before, keep your eyes open for anyone carrying a sketch book and come and say hello.  Dublin Sketcher’s is FREE – just bring your own drawing materials.
