Sunday 1st February - Dorothy Cross curates Trove at IMMA

On Sunday the 1st February Dublin Sketchers are going to the exhibition curated by Dorothy Cross at IMMA. It's call Trove and a collection of artefacts from IMMA, National Gallery and the National Museum.

We'll meet at 2pm at the entrance to the Dorothy Cross exhibition, which is in the annex of IMMA

From 4pm, we'll gather in the Patriot Inn, which is between IMMA and Kilmainham Gaol.

If you haven't been before keep your eyes open for anyone carrying a sketch book and come and say hello. Don't worry if you're late, most of us usually are!

Sunday 25th January - National Museum on Kildare Street

On Sunday the 25th January Dublin Sketchers are going to National Museum on Kildare Street - the one with the bog bodies.

We'll meet at 2pm in the entrance foyer.

From 4pm, we'll gather for a coffee in the bar of Buswells Hotel on Molesworth Street. The bar is in on the left as you enter the hotel.

This week's optional challenge is to use your weaker hand to sketch - so, if you are right handed, sketch with the left, if you are left handed sketch with the right.

If you haven't been before keep your eyes open for anyone carrying a sketch book and come and say hello. Don't worry if you're late, most of us usually are!

Sunday 18th January - Chester Beatty Library

On Sunday the 18th January Dublin Sketchers are going to The Chester Beatty Library behind Dublin Castle

We'll meet at 2pm in the foyer entrance

From 4pm, we'll gather for a coffee in The Turks Head on Parliament Street.

This week's optional challenge is to use geometric shapes to build your sketch.

On Sunday the 11th January Dublin Sketchers are going to visit the annual Turner Exhibition at the National Gallery

We'll meet at 2pm inside the atrium via the entrance on Clare Street.
