Dublin Sketchers back on 3rd January

Dublin Sketchers will be back on Sunday 3rd January.

A big thank you to

Alex, Mauro, Balazs, Mandy, Jane, James, Jessica and Des

for organising a month (or more) of Dublin Sketchers this year.

Thanks also to everyone who has helped out with taking photos of our sketches each week and putting them on the website.

Dublin Sketchers has been going for 7 years! It's a simple formula - we get together on a Sunday afternoon somewhere in Dublin (and sometimes beyond) to share our love of sketching. Each month, a different person organises the locations and spreads the word on the website, on facebook and via a mailing list.

So, yes, we'll need 12 people for 2016 to do a month each!

Happy Christmas

Sketch App testing

Some of you will have met Georgina who is developing an App about sketching. She's looking for testers....

Pique is is an app for sharing sketches, arranging sketching meetups and growing your sketching community. Pique creators are seeking people with iPhones to help with testing the finished app before the end of December. If you would be be interested in checking out Pique, sign up here: http://goo.gl/forms/7uYEGZrq9i

The Pique team will be in touch shortly by email and it will only take 10-15 minutes to test the app and fill out a quick questionnaire. Check out their Facebook Page for more info: https://www.facebook.com/piqueappdublin

On Sunday the 20th December Dublin Sketchers are going to the Brazen Head, as it will be our last gathering for 2015, for a nice farewell, a couple of pints and something to eat.

We'll meet at 2pm in the pub.

Here's a website http://www.brazenhead.com

If you haven't been before it would be a great occasion to come. Don't worry if you're late, most of us usually are!
Hope to see you there!
