On Sunday 9th June we are going to visit Herbert Park in Ballsbridge/Donnybrook.

On Sunday we are going to Herbert Park, Ballsbridge,Dublin 4. This is the first time we have visited this Park. There are lots of activities there and I expect we shall have  good weather.
We will meet at 2pm. at either of the main gates, which are opposite each other, on Herbert Park Road.
If you've not been before, you'll spot us easily as we'll be holding our sketch pads. Don't worry if you're late - just get stuck in with the drawing.

The park is in two sections with Herbert Park Road running through it, and it is bounded on one side  by the River Dodder.
It can be reached by bus No.7 ( get off at the American Embassy and walk up Herbert Park Road)  and also by the 46a, 145  or 39a, which will bring you to Morehampton Road, Donnybrook. Turn into Herbert Park Road at the traffic lights,  to reach the park.

We'll meet again at 4pm at the Herbert Park Hotel, the entrance is behind the bandstand near the pond. We'll enjoy looking at each other's sketch pads over a drink.

A couple of people each week kindly photograph everyone's work to put on the blog. Please help them out by PUTTING YOUR NAME on your sketch book or on EACH sketch you do! If you've got a camera and fancy helping out with photographing folks work - just get snapping on Sundays! You can either post them on www.dublinsketchers.com or email them to dublinsketchers@gmail.com and someone else can post them for you.

Hope to see you there!
